Is that a #8 x 3-1/2" deck screw with the green zinc anti corrosion coating? Good choice.

Yes, although it was a random grab as my screw bin is about as far away from the sensor that runs the garage lights.

It would have to work better than the sorry sheet metal corn holders we have that have forks that are difficult to push in, then won’t stay in! I’d say that any woman that realized that this genius that invented this will go far and is definitely a handsome guy!

Corn Cobb holders - throw away:

Not as cheap as they used to be (Half that price before Covid), but LOML expects me to keep them on hand for when we have Corn on the Cobb, which is about monthly; and one of my daughters keeps them on hand too.

And definitely not as cheap as the screw!

Our way of corn on the cob is to peel back the shucks and remove the silk then pull the shucks back up and microwave about 3 minutes. When done we pull the shucks back and use them for a handle, no need for tools!

Perhaps “someone” should design us a wooden handle that this cob holder will screw through, making it a premium corn cob holder! I’d do it but my honey already thinks I’m handsome.
