Sadly I received the word tonight that Bill Stacks, a.k.a. Dud has passed away. He was another that was a huge part of the beginnings of this forum. May he rest in peace.

Sorry to hear that. I met with him once in Memphis at a famous (for Memphis) BBQ restaurant and had a great time. He lived about 1 1/2 hours NW of Memphis and I live about 45 minutes south. I still remember that time.Hank Lee

Wow, this makes me sad. Bill was a great man. Lee, I too remember that day with Bud at Rendezvous in Memphis. I have a great snapshot from that day. I also had the pleasure of attending a NASCAR race with Bill at Bristol. Great times with a great man.
