So when does vacation start? Too much excitement!

LOML had surgery, and wanted to recover in a warm place.
So - we drove down to Flagler Beach, FL - where my folks live.

LOML is a travel nurse, and she usually stays in a Travel Trailer parked near her assignment.

During her "recuperation" time, she found a perfect Motor Home ( been looking to replace her travel trailer).
Made an offer, and got turned down. Then ---- on the way home, the call came - they accept. (DRAT)

We flew back to Florida and picked up the RV ---- and raced the storm home to west virginia.
We won ---- by 20 minutes.

Unfortunately, the unit was in Florida - and they hadn't "winterized" it. Whoops --- damage isn't too bad, though.

Oh ---- the since this is a woodworking forum - the wood trim is pretty decent. I do wish there was more joinery on the cabinetry - but the wood is solid, and the rabett joinery is fine.

That looks like fun. Any impersonal pictures of the inside?

Here's a link to a Sister unit...... identical to ours, as far as I can see. The cabinet faces use wonderful joinery. All solid wood. Nice firm, aligned catches. This was not assembled in a hurry.

LOML is a travel nurse, and she's traveling, at the moment. The RV is for that, first. We got tired of underwriting Marriott, and decided to shift a couple dollars our way. This rv is just as nice as a 500 sq ft hotel rm.

I plan to spend a month drifting from one craft show to another. It'll haul and power my lathe and drill press.. I'll set up a pen making booth.

Note the pantry about 2:30! This thing as oodles of storage.

If you are interested there is an rv forum that I have found useful.

            It is: https://www.irv2.com/forums/

irv2 is quite active and sometimes I’ve gotten many quick responses to questions I’ve raised.
