    Been away a while…

Well, I retired from teaching a year ago, also a year ago we moved, so my shop is currently disassembled. Fortunately, my youngest son bought our old house, so there's been no rush to move everything.

On top of that, a couple of deaths in the family, and I just (as in last week) had a hip replacement, so I haven't been in the shop since April. My poor canoe is waiting faithfully for me to finish it, and I have a desk to build. It'll be at least six more weeks before I can do any woodworking. Until then, my plans are to do my PT and get caught up on the doings here.

Great to see you back. I'm not tooo far from you at the moment; I'm visiting my daughter in Springfield for a couple of days.

Some of us are getting old and looking for replacement parts like you. Take care of yourself.

Again, great to see your post!
