    Cancer sucks.

I am sure folks have noticed I am not around on here as much as I used to be. We've been dealing with my brother in law, who was diagnosed a couple of years ago with Stage IV colon cancer.

The stress of seeing her brother deteriorate along with other issues, has put my wife in the hospital... And to top it off, as of late yesterday afternoon, my brother in law, Eddie, lost his battle with cancer, and has passed away.

For what it's worth, I lost the girlfriend I had before I met my wife to cancer, my oldest brother lost his first wife to cancer, last year my wifes 20 year old cat died from cancer, and now this....

    Cancer sucks.

I'm sorry to hear of your loss, and I know how very devastating it is for all. I can't begin to imagine the pain and suffering so many have because of this terrible disease and I too have lost many relatives, friends and acquaintances to cancer. The stress to loved ones terrible and can greatly diminish the lives of all those related. Be strong for those you can help.

My thoughts and prayers for you and your loved ones,

    CWS

Dave, I hope things look up for you and your family. I can't imagine how much that must suck having several ongoing cases in the family at the same time.
And I hope your wife gets over her stress issues.
You have my sympathy for your family losses.

Dave, so sorry for your loss. We've lost one of my dauther's friends, my wife's young cousin and my mother in law to cancer. Whether they were 15, 30, or 60, each was taken from us far too soon. to say cancer sucks is an understatement. My prayers are with you and your family.

Thanks guys. We are making it through. THe funeral was, as can be expected, kind of rough. My wife is on the mend, albeit somewhat slowly.... I have been carrying a lot of the load for both of us and right now. I am tired. However I have managed to get a little bit of shop therapy in. Trying to get some projects done. Time with the table saw is nice, but the motor really needs work. I need to rip the motor out of my BT3100 and get those brushes changed out! Unless there is an easy way to do it in the saw...
