A couple weeks ago my cousin took me to the woodworking exhibit at the San Diego County Fair. Here are a few of the many fine works on display.

The SD Fair was a summer tradition for me and my wife when we lived there. I can credit the Palomar College WWing and the Design In Wood displays for piquing my interest in woodworking. After hemming and hawing for two years about taking WWing classes, my wife finally pushed me to make the rush hour drive north to take classes after work. Love that woman! Some of the best schooling I ever got. -
I felt like I was inside of Fine WoodWorking Magazine! I got to spend most of a day with a few Palomar College profs/instructors in Japan when they came over for a Japanese woodworking tour back in 2003-4. Palomar College was a favorite of Sam Maloof if I remember correctly.Hank Lee
