converting bead bits to roundover bits

    I learned a trick, today.

I was staring at my Craftsman router bit set, and realized that I had two (2) different bearing sizes between my straight pattern bit - and my bead bit.

I swapped the bead bit bearing to something a little bit bigger - and voila - the bead bit became a roundover bit!

Guessing most of you vets already know about this trick - but I'm thrilled to figure it out.

I have a couple of sets of bearings for router bits and they are handy for just such as you described. It is great!
