    Anyone using the IE9 Beta?

Preface: I know this is a beta product, and I am using at my own risk. I know this is a Microsoft product and many believe there are far superior browsers. I know this, and I like IE, and I am not going to switch to Chrome, Safari, Firefox, etc.

I am trying out the IE9 beta and I really like it, except one part. I REALLY do not like the "Track and View Downloads" box that pops up EVERY time I download or open a file.

I know how to track my own downloads, and have been doing it for as long as browsers have been around. I do not need idiot protection. Does anyone know how to turn it off?

I don't like to use the word "hate" but I almost used it. It's a shame, I really like IE9's streamlined interface.

Yes, Yes, I know I am bringing my own pain by using IE. Please don't remind me, I have specific reasons for using IE.

I tried it and it crashed repeatedly every time I went to investors.com. There were also issues with menus on the corporate intranet site of one of my clients. I played with a bit but uninstalled it after about four hours.

Note, I only use IE8 for IBD charts, the online version of my daughter's math book, and when I need to access a sharepoint site and need integrated editing with MS-Office. I'm otherwise a Mac bigot and use Safari or Firefox.

Haven't tried it yet, but from my understanding,

You have to have Windows 7 as the OS. XP will not except IE 9?

That's correct. XP is nearing extinction.

Haven't tried it yet, but I enjoy the download box on Firefox.
I have a little blog about my shop
