My MIL - It Is Not Good.

Good news is she is coming Saturday. Bad news is it is Hodgkins Lymphoma Stage IV. She starts treatment here next week.

    Prayers are requested.
    David

Oh, I'm so sorry. You all will be in our thoughts and prayers. This is probably one of the best places she can be for that treatment.

I'll say a prayer for your MIL and your family David. I hope your wife is doing well as this will probably be hardest on her. I don't care how old you are when your parents become sick it still makes you feel like a scared little kid.
I reject your reality and substitute my own.

Yeah. They have a long-time doctor in Indianapolis - another strong medical city - who told my MIL that she needed to be here. My wife has a ton of contacts here and somehow arranged it so that the former head of Oncology at Duke will be my MIL's doctor here. He currently teaches over there - he stepped down as the the dept head so he could work with patients and teach again. My in-laws were also planning to move here, but that was supposed to happen in early spring next year. That has been moved up some I guess.
