Good news is she is coming Saturday. Bad news is it is Hodgkins Lymphoma Stage IV. She starts treatment here next week.

I'll say a prayer for your MIL and your family David. I hope your wife is doing well as this will probably be hardest on her. I don't care how old you are when your parents become sick it still makes you feel like a scared little kid.I reject your reality and substitute my own.Comment

Yeah. They have a long-time doctor in Indianapolis - another strong medical city - who told my MIL that she needed to be here. My wife has a ton of contacts here and somehow arranged it so that the former head of Oncology at Duke will be my MIL's doctor here. He currently teaches over there - he stepped down as the the dept head so he could work with patients and teach again. My in-laws were also planning to move here, but that was supposed to happen in early spring next year. That has been moved up some I guess.David
