    Prayers Needed For My MIL

She went in today for PET scan for cancer. Hopefully they are negative. We will know tomorrow. She had blood work done recently. LDL levels and some other related items were not where they should be.

So prayers needed for her and us.

Dave ,I hope all comes out well for the MIL. My wife found out in june she has lung cancer. She is going in for her fifth chemo this coming wed. She is finished with radiation about four weeks ago. I never prayed so much in all my life but it seems to be working. This is not the way I planed on spending my retirment. I'll say a prayer for her.

Thanks for the well-wishes. The diagnosis came back this morning and it is lymphoma. However the oncologist says it is not an aggressive form and treatment should be straightforward, at least as these things go. They will take out one of the lymph nodes and biopsy it this weekend. They also don't think it has metastasized, although I am not sure how they can tell that from a PET scan.

Sorry to hear of the diagnosis. But the good thing is that it is a slow form. We'll keep her in our prayers so that it hasn't spread.
