Sure reminds me of mine except you have two miter slots and you are using a fine looking top.

                Looks like trex deck shavings

Looks like you are routing the edges on a composite matereail like trex.

                  Is that phenolic?

I abhor working with that stuff. Our lab benches are made of it. It was a
bear to have facilities drill holes in it for a monitor mount and monitor cables.
That guy definitely needed a new hole saw after that.

Gary was right... it is the top to a router table I have been planning to make for a long time.

The router table top is currently 49 1/4 x 24 1/4 and I need to cut it down to 48x24 to finish it up. I picked up a 1/2 sheet of 1/4" black HDPE to use for the top. The top was made of 3 layers, a MDF base, pegboard middle and the HDPE on top. My router lift was thicker than the 1/4" HPDE and I didn't want to take anything off of the MDF since the lift and router is a heavy load. So I stuck a layer of pegboard in the middle to make up the difference. Polyeurathane glued all 3 layers together and clamped it to death. I decided on the pegboard instead of a sheet of hardboard since the glue had space to expand in the holes.

I decided on 2 t-tracks for the slots so I can easily use feather boards/etc with almost any width board. I could make a sled that utilizes both tracks in the future.

As far as the mess the HDPE made, the picture is only the millings from the final slot I cut. I had atleast 4 times that in total debris.

That is a router table top?

Do you need FAA clearance to get stock to approach the flight deck there?

I don't mean to say that's big but daaaaaaannnnnnggggggg!

I was also looking for the catapult and arresting cable.

My work space (9X12 shop) here prevents me from using mine as much as I would like but the two routers currently mounted sure are handy.
                            1 - 1/4 in router
                            1 - 1/2 router.

This allows me to leave the main router bit set to a specific height and then use a second bit momentarily without having to change the first. Sure is handy. The fence will cant to work for either.

One lesson that I learned - a router fence vac works better than an under the router vac. Using both at the same time is even better.

My shop is 12x19 so I have extra room to play. My router table is going to double as a support table for either my RAS or CMS. Put that either left or right of the saw, crank the router down, to get 4' of support for anything I am cutting. I am tired of using roller stands to cut long items.

The table in the picture, underneath the router table I was working on, is my work bench/outfeed table. It gives me around a 4' x 7' work area and makes cutting sheet goods managable. All of my mobile tables/benches are the height of my TS so they can be used for various functions when cutting items on the TS.
