    5 Seconds, best (worst) time.

Laptop mouse?!? I don't believe it. You must live close to a reactor.

                    Hmpf. Show-off!

My first try was like 0.00002 seconds, and then 11 or so. Then I had a vision of getting stuck there all day so I closed it up and tried to forget about it.

No, just lucky. The two after the 18 second one were less than 10 seconds and I quit after that. When the program first starts, slide the square down to the lower right and leave it there. Then a bit later slide it to the upper left and leave it there. You are good for about 10 seconds if you do that. Then you just have to dodge the other squares for a few more seconds.
