Maybe. Just got a new assignment at work that requires a few pieces of SW that only work under XP. The biggest is some collaboration SW. I will be using it enough that a virtual machine won't quite cut it. Some things I need to collaborate on already work in Linux but the VM can't see the apps in Linux so I'd be installing the same things in the XP VM. I've requested a 2nd laptop with XP on it but not sure that is gonna happen, given the budget constraints.

Google Installing xp after Linux, so you don't have to wipe your system. (several pages, I would just try to find one on your distro of choice).
Remember, MS suggested Windows be reinstalled every six months, at one point in time.
I am still running Suse 10.0 (OLD primary system), and 9.0 on an old Samba box. Only going to upgrade, soon, due to new hard drives (more space) and wanting to play more with Ubuntu.She couldn't tell the difference between the escape pod, and the bathroom. We had to go back for her.........................Twice. -
