LOML found a wall poster on line that she liked and it had a code for 25% off. We discussed it and decided it would look well where we wanted it. After about an hour she went back on line to order it and the discount was down to 20%. I went on with my mac and was able to get the 25% off. Looks like a mac gets better discounts as well as other benefits.

I was recently looking on various sites for motel reservations. When I went back to the one I had decided on, the price had gone up. I reset my browser, erasing all cookies, and went back again. The price was back down! It must have been a marketing ploy based on the cookies, because I used my Mac for the whole scenario.

We find the same thing for airline reservations directly with the airlines. After a few hits on the same flight - while comparing to other flights, the price goes up. I am in agreement that it probably has something to do with the cookies.

Use tabs, keep each airline/whatever site open to the good price/discount, open a new tab for each other company/site you want to compare or get on a google search.Comment
