    from the article:

"A world without Harvey Korman -- it's a more serious world," Brooks told the AP on Thursday. "It was very dangerous for me to work with him because if our eyes met we'd crash to floor in comic ecstasy. It was comedy heaven to make Harvey Korman laugh."

He had that effect on so many. He is one of those people who made me realize laughter IS the best medicine. Glad I was around to see him. Another master of innuendo, slapstick, highbrow humor and the occasional lowbrow. He will be missed.

That is too bad he was such a funny man and could Tim Conway put him on the floor. He will be missed and the world will become more serious.

What he passed away from is what MilDoc aka Paul just had surgery for and I have. The big difference Paul's didn't rupture and they are watching mine. Harvey must have really had a bad one. Paul may have to explain what might have happened.

One less now that doesn't think foul language or outlandish props are needed to be funny.

That's so very true. So few comedians are that talented. What a great combination...Harvey and Carol, natural comedy at its best for the whole family. He lived a very full and successful life.

You guys took all the good bits!

I watched the dentist sketch with Tim Conway on YouTube last night--Watching Korman try not to break was even funnier than Conway and the Novocaine.

                  He'll be missed....

I'll admit, I'm a little younger probably than the average poster on this thread, but I loved him in Blazing Saddles. I remember as a kid watching reruns of the Carol Burnett show with him, Carol and Tim Conway. How many times did they actually lose it live on screen because they found each other to be so funny?

                    RIP Hedey.

One of my favorites from Saddles: My mind is a raging torrent, flooded with rivulets of thought cascading into a waterfall of creative alternatives.
