    Do You Feel Stimulated?

Finally filed taxes for this year. 'Economic Stimulus' rebate is more than I thought it would be. Not gonna stimulate much with it though. It is earmarked to pay off the last of the unsecured debt we have and the rest goes into the kitty for down payment on a new van.

The short answer is "No". I was stimulated yesterday about 4:30 P.M. when I had another prostate biopsy.

I was excited about it until I realized that its only going to offset my increased fuel costs. And I have 3 kids so I got a nice "refund". So in the end, I won't be consuming any more goods and services than I otherwise would have had oil prices not shot up and there was no economic stimulus program.

Uh, I may be using it to pay off some unexpected tax burdens and/or debt. Not sure whom if anyone that will stimulate, but I doubt it will do much for the economy...

I am not going to complain about getting back some of my money, but we won't be spending it on something frivolous. I have 1 kid, but as he arrived jan 7th, he's not much help in this one.

No stimulation here either. When it comes, it's paying off a credit card.

Well, been a while since I posted; but after reading post on "stimulated" couldn't resist. Only me and LOML so the check wasn't THAT big, but we are going to split it down the middle. She is going to have a well deserved "spa" session and I am going to go to GriZZly and buy a new band saw!

Mine paid off a sizeable debt. Still got some others, but it helped.

Now, to figure out a way to get out of my student loans....

My local appliance store was stimulated. We spent the entire check on a new washer and dryer just before the check arrived. "loads" of fun! I do have to say my clothes are very clean and dry now!

Don't know what LOML did with her half. Half ($340) of my half went for 2 tires for HER Expedition. Get the Idea. I will be buying some Pen kits and blanks and some other turning things with what left of my half. Not really what I planed on but least I got some spending money out of it.

Sounds like a lot of people were "stimulated" before they got the stimulation money. Had to pay some taxes this year, so have to wait until about the end of June to get ours. We'll spend it on something.
