If I buy food and beverage, and give you some free maple, would you spend a week or two in my shop?

I want to know who polishes the hammer that is in the picture. I think he has another shop some place that looks like ours, full of dust, rust on the various tables and chipped chiseles.
Really very nice Rod, it is something to strive for.

I have to respect the fact that you used that high dollar maple for shop fixtures! My wife gets bent when a, lets say walnut router table base with drawers and brushed stainless steel pulls show up in my shop!Comment

Wonderful shop! How humid does it get in your neck of the woods? I am curious b/c I live in the southeast of the US and the summers can be hot and humid, just wondering how your shop and wood react to your extremes.
Thanks!I think in straight lines, but dream in curvesComment

Looks good as usual Rod! I thought of you a couple of weeks ago. I was in Vermont visiting my wife and MIL. Being the early riser it was my job to start the fire in the wood stove. They had 2 cords of split maple for firewood. Almost brought tears to my eyes each time I put a piece in the stove. Being 10-18 degrees outside made it easier but it was hard. I remembered your post about finally getting some maple and thought about the neat jigs you could make with all that firewoodJim in Texas and Sicko Ryobi Cult Member ©Comment

So much for my retirement income...had to sell my stock in all the MDF manufacturers.
Nice work...as always.
