    interesting numbers

call me crazy (LOML does) - but i've always been very interested in interesting numbers, even if of negligible significance.

eg - every time the odometer shows a bunch of repeating numbers, i call it out; the other day when it came to 111111, i actually pulled over to the shoulder and made my kids read it out aloud, to LOML's utter dismay .

anyway, take a look at BT3C's home page this morning :

as you see, Loring has (had?) just 3 more posts to catch with the number of members, and then there'd be 1 LCHIEN post for each member!
    tantantara- trumpets please!

but i guess once he passes it, it'd be pretty difficult for the number to catch up again, maybe never ! whadya say?

As long as you're interested in numbers, consider this. What if...what if, once Loring matches the members numbers (if all that happens), and makes a post each time a new member signs up, and those numbers run parallel. Now that would have us all watching.

It would probably also bug Loring, 'cause when membership slowed down, he'd hafta sit on his hands...

                  there are 5319 members who have 0 or 1 post. that's 64%.

I forget why i was going to mention that.

actually there's a discrepancy, the statistics box you guys mention shows 8271 members but the members list only shows 8057 members.
