Please keep this man in your prayers

My grandpa just had a stroke, he had major damage to his vision, and the gave him a drug that should clear up the clot. They said it would take a few hours, but he could see results in about 30 minutes. That's all I know right now, but his vision is still not good. If he doesn't heal a lot more, he will lose his ability to drive, do woodworking, or many of the other activities that he enjoys to do. He was the one who taught me all I know, and I often visit him to use his tools on my projects, and I would really hate to not be able to work with him anymore.

I would also like to apologize for lying about my age, as my dad was always worried about me getting kidnapped and stuff online, and he forced me to write as though I was an adult (and monitored it, too). I am in fact about Kyle W.'s age. (He now trusts me not giving out information online.)

I just got back from visiting him. His vision is getting better, although he is seeing in patches, but he can draw a clock about the size of a penny, with pretty good accuracy. Thank you all for your support.

Prayers sent Alex.... I admire your concern for him. My Grandpa met the world to me when he was alive.

Prayers up, Alex. The Lord God, creator of us all and a carpenter at one time just may have a soft spot for us. Nevertheless, he hears all prayers and provides what is needed for the long term.

                    Blessings and prayers up!
                    Blessings,
                    Chiz

Prayers coming for your grandfather, Alex. FWIW, I had a stroke in '95. I was partially paralyzed, and my vision was pretty wild. After a short time recovering (a few months), I regained all the functions I lost. It's a scary thing for him, but it sounds like he's on the road to recovery. Best of luck to him.

Sounds like things are looking up, Alex! I will offer my prayers for you grandpa's speedy and complete recovery.

While he can't get back in the shop, invite him to join the family here and introduce himself.
