    Worst month ever

This month started out with our cat Tiger getting run over. Then our other cat, Medea, got terribly ill with FIP and wasn't going to get better. I had to put her down Thursday before last.
The next day, my wife's brother came and borrowed my rifle to go target practicing. We found his body on Monday. I spent all week with my wife and her family trying to help with arrangements and such. It was the longest week of my life. Last night my wife and daughter were involved in a hit-and-run. Thankfully they weren't hurt. Tonight, my wife and I stopped by the store and in walks the guy that hit her last night. We got the police out there and they took the guy to jail, but said that since he was an illegal alien there really wasn't anything they could do. He'll spent tonight in jail and that's about it.
I really don't think I can take alot more right now. I'm almost afraid to let my wife and kids out of my sight right now. Sorry to dump all this here, but I really needed to vent a bit.

I started reading the thread and said to myself, this has got to be an April Fool's joke. But it wasn't, holy cow!! Keep your head about you as you deal with these circumstances. Our thoughts help your strength.

I too, was hoping that this was a joke. I still wish it was. That's an awful lot to go through. You are in my thoughts and prayers- good luck. Let us know if you need to vent some more.

                Morning JB....

I don't know how anyone could possibly top what has happened to you and hope they don't even come close. Other than ""I'm sorry", I don't think of much to say that would be helpful. About the only thing I suppose is something that I personally adhere to when I have un-desirable things happen as you have.

When the going gets tough..... the tough get going!

BTW.. we have somewhat of the same problem in the Atlanta area with the illegal aliens. My wife gets something called "community watch" on the inter-net that is put out by the local law en-forcement. It is pictures and offenses of those that were arrested the previous night. Just in our zip code alone the list is mostly comprised to illegal aliens with no drivers license and no insurance. I don't want to imagine just how many if you included all the local Atlanta zip codes. A large problem indeed, but that's another story!

                Regards...

Man that is really rough. I hope things get better for you! You did great restraining yourself when you guys saw the hit and run guy. I would have beaten the living **** out of him and really compounded the situation.
Again, I hope things start turning around for you!
