    Here we go Again

Oh no, It looks like we are going to get hit again with lots of SNOW. The are predicting 18"-24" here just west of Albany , New York. I just wish that it goes farther out to sea and we get very little snow. I don't know about everyone else but I want the warmth of Spring.

I know how y'all feel : I am feeling something similar - clouds in the sky, temperature around 27 degrees.

But wait - that's centigrade; so maybe I don't know how you feel....

Okay, seriously, we are still only high 70's, and I am at work while the kids have the day off from school, were playing outside when I went home for lunch (yeah, I work 3 miles away).
Hmph - I can try and be miserable...

          Sorry, could not resist...

No snow here so far, but lots of rain, and some sleet. There are big puddles, and there is sleet staying on the grass. Trip home should be fun. The bridge (Delaware Memorial) tends to be fun in bad weather. Trucks and especially people in SUVs do stupid things. Probably bad crosswinds today too.

At least the weekend looks like it should be a bit better.

We had over 3" of rain the other night. The ground is still a little frozen yet. The With all the snow from a month ago, and the rain a week ago, what ground that is thawed out is saturated. Bunch of flood warnings the last couple of days. I guess you guys are getting it now.

You mean when I'd be wilting away in the heat, or when I'd be battening down the hurricane shutters and wilting away in the heat?

Now that you have reminded me, I wish I could enjoy that nice snow for a while now...

Its falling out of the sky now.
Guess were getting a little luck of the Irish in Central Vermont with only 12" to 18" of snow predicted.
We had 60 degree weather on Wednesday and Thursday and much of the snow has melted... Hmmm... that could have been our Summer?

I'm cleaning out the boat for a 3 day weekend at the lake. Temps should be in the 80-90's here.

At least you have an extra hour of daylight at the end of the day to shovel snow. Thank you Congressional DST change!!

Well I just watched the news and they changed the forecast. Now we are expecting 12"- 18" by tomorrow morning. As for you guys rubbing in the nice weather, I'm sure that you have your bad days as well as us here in the great Northeast.
At least our house don't blow away from tornadoes or hurricanes, shake form earthquakes Flood other then rivers backing up from Ice jams and to much rain.
I can live with the snow but mother nature fooled us this past week with 65 degree temps. I hate when she does that.

I had put the snow blower in the back of the shop last week. I just got back in from clearing 5-6 inches of that white stuff. Now its hailing. I'll be able to go ice skating in the morning on my driveway. Oh well spring is only five days away, I think i'll make it.
