      Yeah thanks for the heads up. Looks plenty interesting and I could use a book like this. Any body own it and would you recommend it?

        Don't know if you've done it, but you can "Search Inside" this book by clicking the picture. Shows you about 20 pages of what's inside. Looks pretty good and covers most power tools (per the table of contents page).

          Thumbs up to ya for posting this book. It's a good one that I've got in my "library". Actually my WW library I think has exceeded my college texts (the ones I didn't sell).

          There's not too many "maintenance" type books out there. Of course you don't know if you need one till it's too late.

            I used to watch his show on DIY- but I quickly realized that the show is useless. Maybe this book is a better deal. 62 new and used starting at $2.10, doesn't sound like it'll cost much to find out...

              Same here. Very frustrating show. The way they rushed through everything, you'd have thought the studio was on fire. And although I've found Thiel's published articles to be well done, he's hardly a "natural" in front of a TV camera.
