We should never loose track of why this weekend is a National Holiday. I know many of the members are vets and that more than a few of us toast fallen friends and comrades now and then. This weekend, do it with the kids, family, and friends . . . make sure they know why this is called Memorial Day.
Thank you!
A man without a shillelagh, is a man without an expidient.
My heartfelt thanks to all the ladies and gentlemen who have served this country, risking and sometimes sacrificing their lives to defend the liberties and freedoms of our great county. I am proud of every one of you and wish you and your families the very best on this day of memorial. God bless you and God bless America.
I will give my thanks to all the men and women who have served and are serving and to those who gave their lives today at the local VFW Memorial Day services.
Thanks to everyone here on the forum for serving in the Armed forces and making our country what it is today.
