    Introducing the "Telecrapper"

Telecrapper, Johnny Rocker, Stratocrapper, crappocaster, Terlitnator, fannypack, the Eric Crapton, Thunder Wunder, ....what should we call this thing?!

Whatever you want to call it, mums the word because it's a Christmas gift for my younger kids. They watched me build a real guitar for their older brother, and made several comments about wanting a guitar too. The problem is that none of them play, so it's hard to justify the time and money of building a nice guitar...the Telecrapper was just the ticket. Guitar builds don't get much simpler than this. We had the neck, the pickup, and saddle, so I only had to buy the tuning pegs, toilet seat, strings, and jack cover. I've probably got 4 hours and ~ $40 into it. I just got it strung and fired up this morning, and it seems to work fine. Hopefully they all have a good time with this. I don't envy anyone who ends up doing guitar licks on this thing!

Happiness is sort of like wetting your pants....everyone can see it, but only you can feel the warmth.

That is just too cool! Who knows, if Ozzie sees this he might be beating on your door to get one for his next tour.

What happens if one of the kids becomes a famous guitar player? I can just see them now on the Tonight Show:

"Yeah, I learned to play guitar on a toilet seat guitar my father made us."

Will you be going to school with them the day they bring this in for Show and Tell? Christmas 2010 will be a great memory that they will carry with them for the rest of their lives. Way to go dad.

              I love it!

Looks like a model from a company I used to work for.

I guess "Telecrapper" is better than "Crapcaster" any day of the week!

Nah...wish I could take credit for more than copying someone else's idea! I found pictures of several when I researched it. Letterman might be fun though!

A real guitarist could probably "play the $hit out of that one!"

And I've unfortunately heard some where that's all they could get out of their "axe."
