    I am like Scott. I had not bought a battery in a couple years and was used to seeing them at Autozone or Advance starting at about $40. No more. The cheapest I could find was Walmart for about $75. That is one heck of an increase.

      Oh yeah. In the fall I bought a battery for #1 Son's '96 Intrepid. $100 out the door, and it doubled the car's value

        Well, we ended up with a $60 battery from BJ's Wholesale Club...and I can live with that. I sent my son to pick it up, so I haven't even seen it yet, but it should be at least comparable to what was in it....only newer and livelier!
        Happiness is sort of like wetting your pants....everyone can see it, but only you can feel the warmth.
