    Neighbor Might not Make it.

Sunday I was hanging on the ladder in the cold and blowing snow putting up Christmas lights and my neighbor walked by and mentioned that he had his all up and ready to go by first of November. Monday evening it was cold and I was trying to repair one of the strings of lights. He walked by again and mentioned that he had his all layed out and repaired before July comes around. Last night it was raining and only one string was lit and I was waiting in ambush but he never came by.

He is a good guy, just kind of pedantic about explaining his way.

Another thing is he uses his garage for his cars instead of hobbys and has the walls lined with shelves where he neatly stores items.

The neighbor must be a woman. I can't believe a man would say something like that.

I am sorry, I think he's crossed the line there. You need to report him.

                  That's what I think too.

Darryl, don't feel bad. An entire string went out on my lights last week. It still isn't fixed and may not be. I never liked that string anyway, it uses different bulbs than the other two. I will probably toss it when the lights come down and just replace it with something else.

I'd get a couple of those novelty flashers that make connected lights appear to be on a faulty circuit. I'd wait for him to go to sleep, and then I'd make some "adjustments."

Use a pair of wire cutters removing about a foot of wire on his lights. Then as he is repairing them walk by and say I fixed mine in place last week!

just shorten the string of lights by about 10 lights... Whocounts the lights on a string anyways?
That's increase the voltage on each bulb by about 10% enough to make them start burning out prematrely.
As more bulbs go out they will spread the voltage over fewer bulbs and then they'll really start to go.

Maybe Christmas lights should be added to the list of taboo topics with religion and politics. It seems to have brought out the sadistic tendencies.
