Hey, this thing won't let me vote twice! Having lived in Chicago and then Hudson County in Jersey for about 28 of my 33 years, I think my civil rights are being violated here! I haven't voted only once in ANY election since my first presidential election when I was 12!!!

Stunning work. I'd never think that a simple 2 x 6 could me made into such beautiful pieces. Makes me realize how much I have to learn.

I felt terrible about having to make a decision! I thought this would be easy! I mean, what can you make with a 2X6, really?

I felt just as bad about choosing just one entry as I was happy that I didn't enter and embarass myself.

Wow, some really amazing entries. One vote.........hard decision to make.

This contest was a great idea as it is truly inspiring to see what can be done with a simple 2X6. All the tools in the world and a lumber yard full of wood does not guarantee a great completed project.

This just proves that the most valuable part of woodworking is creativity and craftsmanship. These entries have underscored this and I for one have gotten a great deal of inspiration from these entries.

My hats off to all who posted thier entries. A GREAT job by all and to all my heartfelt THANK YOU !!

I have to agree with what's already been said. These are amazing pieces. I would like to know though.... Some of the non-turned entries look like they had to have had some turning involved.

This is a really tough choice, everyone obviously put thought into how they could really stand out in this challenge.

That was probably the hardest vote I ever cast. You guys did excellent work and all of you should be proud. As time goes on I hope I can learn more from your knowledge. GREAT JOBS!!!!!

Ditto what everyone else said. I had to go back and look at the choices a dozen times before I finally picked one, and even then I still wasn't 100%. There were easily 4-5 that I could have picked.

Someday I hope to have 1/10 of the skill you guys do! Bravo to everyone!
