    Avatar Issue update:
I've filed a support request with vBulletin regarding the state flag avatars. In the meantime, if you select "Use a default avatar" and then find the one you want to use, just drag it to the box below "Copy and paste the image URL from a hosting site." and you will be able to save it.

Is there a way to set the "Recent Posts" page as your default page on login?

If you link to http://www.sawdustzone.org/recentpost it will take you straight there. The read/unread markings won't work until you log in though. I'll see if this can be set as the standard start page for the site.

Posting a photo from my smartphone was easier now than before because the icons were bigger.

I noticed all of our locations are gone although I still see it in my profile settings. I liked seeing where other posters were from.

Getting a post to post seems to take longer. After I clicked post, the word "Working" was up for 5+s before I saw my post entered.

How do you insert an image for the avatar? In my profile when I hover over the avatar character all I get is save image and copy?

What happens when you "click" on the avatar character? By clicking on it, it should bring up "Edit Avatar", after which you are given two or three options for your own avatar. Not sure if this works or not. Mine was already installed when the transfer was done. I got lucky!

Try it now, you should get an "Edit Avatar". vBulletin mad a lot of changes around avatars and I needed to change the user group permissions.

Edit avatar is working now... But how do you get the picture sized to fit the little box in the corner? I'm unable to grab the corner and manipulate the photo must be too large but my iPad doesn't let me re-size photos. (Apple must not think that owners of their product need to do that)

I need to do some digging on that one. I know how to crop a photo on an iPad, but not how to resize it. If anyone else can jump in and help out it would be appreciated.

I just noticed that after I complete my text for a post reply and press post reply I get a message that I must wait 30 seconds to post another reply, and it didn't seem to want to post what I just typed. I also got an empty something message box.

Yeah I came here to say this, but now I see "recent posts" might be a better choice. Still wish there was a view that only showed the threads that I haven't already completely read, like the old version had.

New topics shows only unread posts, and uses the thread view, just like recent topics. Each thread should drop off the list after you have read it.

Where do I find a "New Topics" button? All I see is "New Posts" and "Recent Posts". "New Posts" is not thread-based, but shows each new post separately... so if there are 8 replies in a single thread, you get 8 entries.

It is supposed to be be right between new posts and recent posts. There is an issue with the security setting on the menu item so it is only showing up for some users.
