    first bowl

first bowl – turned on shopsmith – sycamore finished with shellawax then johnsons paste wax both burnished in on the lathe

found out that if i fill it with M&Ms the flaws become much less noticeable!

    Thanks:

Looks real good, what flaws? I left all my first ones unfinished, they weren't worthy.

Just make sure you're not turning bowls with the gouges that came with the Shopsmith. Get a their bowl gouge set or a 1/2 bowl gouge from packard, craft supply or PSI. Turning deep with spindle gouge is dangerous..
