    W T B DELTA 36-412 mitersaw

Been looking for one of these old saws Delta 36-412 and willing to pay extra for one in great shape. If you have one or know of one please contact me.

I'm curious if there is something special about that particular model, since there seem to be so many other options?

I don't have room behind the saw for a slider. The 36-412 is double-bevel,90 degree cross cut of 9 3/4",can cut a 6,3/4"x 1" board up against the fence.and accurate.

Yes that does have a monster crosscut capability of 9.5 or 9.75" depending on who you believe.

If your only tool is a hammer, you tend to treat all problems as if they were nails.

If space behind is an issue and you are also looking for max cross cut the check out the Bosch Glide miter saws. I have one and it is awesome. will set you back a few $$$s more but I dont think I will ever buy another.
