My Aunt and Uncle hosted Christmas last year at their new house which was devoid of a coffee table in their big living room. I quipped that I would make them one before we left and so I followed through on it.
I made this table this summer but my Uncle wanted something lighter than walnut. I had a big 8/4 slab of ash that I used. The legs are angled at 45deg from each other.

My parents wanted one, too, and so I whipped one up in walnut. These legs are at 90deg to each other because it's going under an existing square glass top.
So that's all folks for the foreseeable future. I'll still be around, but who knows what I'll be able to make ad when.
