Very nice. Seems almost a shame to cover up the back with stuff on shelves.
just another brick in the wall...

Might not be much of anything on it. Going to put it under my TV and set the laptop on it when I connect it to the TV. It is going to replace a cardboard box. It was deeper when I started but when I was rabbiting out the sides for back I didn't pull it away far enough I guess and the router bit sucked it across and kinda messed it up. So I cut about 1/2" off each side and was more careful the second time around. I also had to make the top smaller because it was sticking out way to far and probably would have tipped over. The pocket holes would have been further from the front too. But since it is pretty short no one should notice them. The back is just another scrap board too that I re-sawed. The boards that have that wavy 3D reflective looking grain is my favorite. Almost like waterfall bubinga at a fraction of the cost.

Beautiful wood and classic design, love it. What finish did you use?
