Thanks for posting this. Looks GREAT! The design helped me realize something.

My aunt (in a state far from MS) has a rather large table and chairs (12) that her millionaire son doesn't want. (He grew up with it.) After seeing your Greene and Greene design - it triggered something, and I started looking at Greene and Greene designed furniture. That is what my Aunt has in her table. And because my aunt saw me looking under the table at it and the construction of the breadboard ends in addition to other aspects of it - she knew that I recognized the quality of fine furniture. Then she offered it to me upon her passing. I just have to go get it, and it will be worth it for both the design as well as the sentimental value.

My mom and dad put my aunt through college in the late '40s, and she baby sat me on weekends - so we have always been close.

OH to have a Greene and Green design Heavy and Big table and chairs!

This is very close to the table she has: http://www.barnfurnituremart.com/i/DRCWBT42722_600.jpg
It has been about 10 years since I last saw it.

Thanks guys. Appreciate the comments. It was a fun build. I schooled my wife on this one and she used the TS,BS,Mitre saw, router, router table and some hand tooling. We both had a lot of fun doing it.

Hank, your Aunt had a good eye for well built and beautiful furniture. I know you'll be proud and honored to have the table and chairs. Happy for you.
