    raised panel jig

    i needed to make two large raised panel "rosettes" to top off the panels i will be using to encase two carrying beam support colums as part of a basement remodel. i pulled this together in about 30 minutes from scrap lying around the shop:




    and here is a test piece of what the finished product will look like:



    this is the 7th jig i've built for the shop. now i've got the same problem as the other thread discussing where to store them. walls, ceilings, shelves.........

    If you have exposed beams in the shop.....they can work to your advantage
    as a place to hang jigs and other little used shop items, believe me...I do it
    all the time.
