    Finished...almost..maybe!!

Last fall I measured the closet in the RV so I could build a drawer unit to fit in there. The closet is 34 inches deep and a lot of useless space. I had to come up with walls for a partition and both sides for the drawer slides. All that you see is screwed together mostly with pocket screws. It will be disassembled and hopefully fit in the space. It was nearly 6 months ago that the RV went into winter storage and I hope I measured right! I have no access to the storage area during the winter. The cherry stain matches the rest of the interior of the coach. I'll be getting her out in a couple of weeks and I'll see how it fits!

It might be done... or NOT!!

How deep are those drawers? Looks like a great job.

The cabinet is 34 inches deep. I bought the longest drawer slides I could find which were 28 inch full extension. The drawers themselves are 32 inches so they will not be a true full extension.

It is going to be some what like putting a ship in a bottle as the opening is only 12 inches wide. I may have to go on a weight loss program to assemble the unit in the cabinet.

          All done

It was really tight working in there! This will make much needed pantry space.
          And they fit!

Looks really nice and useful, and better than they would have made it at the factory. Now you can keep the beer in the fridge!

That turned out great, nice work. You'll have a lot of accessible storage. All those slides likely set you back a bunch.

Nice job, Lee. You'll find that a lot handier than the closet, especially in an R/V where space is precious.
