    Toy box

Here's the latest projct I completed. It is a toy box for Granson Logan. It seems that he has more and more junk ('scuse me, treasures) piling up in our computer room. He loves Thomas the Train, so when I saw plans for this I got them. After all, it only took 1 1/2 sheets of plywood, so how hard could it be??? LOTS of parts to cut out! That's the problem I'm having right now, is trying to cut along the line. Most of the parts seemed to come out ok, but there were a few that didn't match the pattern exactly. The only thing I haven't done yet is put on hinges for the top, don't know if I will or not. It might be more flexible with the top free, more room to pile toys up...
All in all, I think it turned out ok.
    Thanks for looking.

Nice work! I can tell you really must love the lil' guy to put in all that effort! The toy box looks like a pretty good toy in itself

That is one cool toy box. I really like the way you personalized it with his name.

Now that's pretty neat. Good job too. And I agree looks like a toy in itself to me.

That is really cool. Where did you get the plans? I think it would be cool to find plans for a "big rig" truck for our youngest son.

Dear Lady Nut..... I purchased the plans from Meisel Hardware Specialties... http://www.meiselwoodhobby.com/cgi-b...hop/search.wml.
I also have plans from their to make a Fire Engine Bed... Logan is going to be growing out of the TedEBed soon, so he's got to have something else to go to. That store has lots of neat stuff in their catalog...
                              Lots of luck
