    Ahna's Cradle

It's finally finished! Made from oak and stained with Minwax English Chesnut followed by at least 6 coats of wiped on poly.

Now, all that's required is for Ahna to get here. I think that will be sometime this coming week. Yeah, I work better with a deadline. I actually I thought I had until the end of the month, but last Friday she gave us a bit of a scare and we thought she was going to make her appearance then.
Grandpa had to get it in gear and bust butt all week to finish. I didn't want her coming home to sleep in a box!

Great cradle! It looks like many painstaking hours went into it.

The cat would have to be retarded to do that!

For the record, the cat IS retarded. Tigger will/does get into EVERYTHING. she recently spent most of the day shut in the cabinet with my sanders when she slipped in to take peek. I kept hearing a meow, but couldn't find where it was coming from. Since that day, if she sees the door the the garage/shop open, she goes the other way!
