arcade cabinet - just built one

i'm not much of an experienced woodworker. I originally wanted
to learn woodworking to build furniture that i wanted. I picked
up the tablesaw to begin work on a large armoir. In the meantime, I've
been building smaller projects to get some practice in. So far this has
been the largest thing I have build.
Heavy use of the tablesaw. Other tools include drill press, router, nail gun.

Let me know what you think. I wanted something for the game room,
but didn't take the entire room. It was nice to combine PC skills and
woodworking. Thanks for also providing this forum, I've learned
a great deal from just lurking.

Nicely done. The WIP pictures are great for the detail too. Looking forward to seeing some more projects!

Very Nice - Where did you get the controller and buttons? What games does it play?
        Thanks again,

the buttons and joysticks are from happ controls online and
www.groovygame.com online. no more than 20 dollars for industrial quality parts.
everything was surplus pc parts that were laying around.
i think everyhome should have one.

Yeah, that is a nice job!

I've been fooling with emulation for years, and always considered building my own cabinet. You have re-inspired the idea for me!

A friend of mine built his own cabinet and tried to capture a lot of what into it. Here is his website. Check it out. Nice job on yours...

I have seen the arcade cabinet and think he did a great job.

Nice job. I like the idea of making a smaller cabinet than the traditional ones. I have been planning on making a full sized cabinet, but this might have changed my mind. What is the final dimensions of it, approx ?

What are the pc spec's of your mame cabinet? Any issues with cooling?
