      Very nice work indeed, John.

Did you use a "plan", or is this your own design?

My own design, made one originally for my wife and got hooked on them. Since then I have designed a half dozen different ones and have a couple more designs on the sketch pad.

Great job, John. The grain on the face at the top and some of the drawer fronts (looks like the top, too) is beautiful! Shame you couldn't have made all the faces with the same board.

That would have been great, I am using ends left over at a friends shop. The one great thing is they are free.

                  Larry,

Here is a closeup of one of the drawers, I have added some text and lines to show its construction. Basically the drawer fronts are 3/8" thick. Rabbits are cut on all 4 sides of the back. The sides and back are 1/4" thick. the sides have a rabbit cut in them to receive the back. There is a 1/8" dado cut in all pieces for the drawer bottom. Hope you can see it my old camera is not too fine for close ups.

Great looking box! Looks like you got a nice even stain which is hard to do on maple.
