    Entertainment Center

    Hi guys,

I am new to the forum, one of my friends told be about it and I find it very interesting. I just finished this Entertainment Center for the family room. I was trying to finish it before Super bowl Sunday and I did. I made everything out of solid oak and plywood. I planed my own lumber that I bought at Houston Hardwoods. The dimension are 10 ½ foot wide x 7 ½ foot tall. My wife stained it with Red Oak Minwax and I cleared it with 2 coats of Polyurethane. The molding in the corners I bought at a shop that makes molding for custom cabinetry.

OK, seeing as you're new to the forum I'll excuse the faux pas this time, but you must understand the most important forum rule: you are not allowed to post pictures of any projects that look better than mine!

    Great looking entertainment center! Welcome.

Very nice work. And made nicer by the sizable screen centering the piece.

I must admit that it was me that convinced him to come to this forum. On the plus side at least he referred to me as a friend! Or at least I think he is talking about me? Anyway he is a very good woodworking and really sucks for having a shop 5 times larger than mine! I am glad that he got some of that fireplace in the picture though. (Small gloat)

Beautiful work! I love the corner moldings - makes all the difference.

Now you need to make a guitar and REALLY get Tundraman upset
