    Power Switch

    Hello to all,

My power switch on my BT3100 initially failed in the on position then finally bit the dust. Need recommendations on where to purchase the replacement switch assembly.

    Any help appreciated

Over the last several years there have been a number of posts regarding switch failures on the BT. I don't have the information readily at hand; but IIRC, I believer Ryobi Customer Support (or maybe Technical Support) has a free replacement.

I'll look for the information and post a follow-up as soon as I locate it.

Read this to get the switch. Wayne is on the forum here.

This is the place to ask questions about the Ryobi BT3 series table saws. Please limit the posts to this topic only.

The service from Wayne for this part is outstanding.

You may try to remove the switch and move the wires to the other set of terminals on the switch. I did that and mine worked fine until I received the replacement.

Thanks to everyone, just sent email to Wayne Hill hope to get this resolved soon.

Tried removing switch to move wires as suggested but it was too far gone. The internal contacts could be heard rattling as I removed the switch.

When I replaced both switches on my saws I moved them to the left side. Took a bit of moving wires around but sure do like it better!
