    Finally found one

    Well, I guess everything comes to those who wait. I finally found a decent BT3100 on Craig's List and picked it up yesterday. It seems to be complete and in pretty good condition, but I want to go through it and tune and lube it before I start any projects. It certainly should be an improvement over my trusty BTS10.

      Congratulations! I hope you find your BT as pleasurable to use as I have. I also have a BTS21, and though I like it for its "fold up and transport", it is not a BT.

      I looked long and hard, before I bought mine and unless I suffer some major catastrophy, I can't imagine ever replacing it.
