    Hospital trips....

Long story short, wife is ill, in the hospital. Not getting a whole lot of sleep, or pretty much anything else done.

Just visiting a hospital is always depressing; and when you or your loved one has to stay in a Hospital, it's even more so. Once we acknowledge and internalize that, we can try and see the silver lining to it: the expected outcome is to be better/healthier than before. I am sure your wife will recover and be better than before, sooner than later.

Not getting anything else done is but expected - so you should not allow that to bother you. Not getting any sleep, OTOH, is not good, so you should try to address that. From my recent experience, soaking some bright sunlight during the day, when I took walks, helped.

Wish you and your wife the best.

O just did a 2 day stint there for surgery. I’m lucky, since surgical wing typically has people with known issues and good prognosis.

My hope is is that you have cause for optimism.
