    Remodel Progress Custom Crown moulding

Back in 1978 when my dad and I built the house we milled and installed custom crown moulding from rough sawn birch. This was all milled in the high school wood shop and was in all the public areas of the house. My dad was superintendent of schools at the time so we had access to the finest equipment taxpayer dollars could supply.

A couple of photos of it installed.

It was assembled from four pieces as you can see from one of the pieces I was able to remove in tact. I plan on making this into a shelf for my dad who is now 93.

We managed to salvage nearly all of it and it is ready to be remilled and repurposed during the remodel.
